For the 3rd year we are almost full with entries so if you are a runner thinking of taking part, please register through Runners World or Run Britain links we have provided.

We look forward to welcoming new runners , and to say hello to many hundred runners who are returning to our unique marathon event in the world’s greatest city.


Congratulations to all those who made the cut, we are really excited to planning the 3rd running of London’s best trail marathon. This year we have the support of massage teams from Twickenham and Chris Preston and his team from BMF (British Military Fitness) will be there to stretch and warm the runners up before 9.30am. I am also delighted to announce we will have support from some London Ambassadors  who played a great role in the Olympic and Paralympic Games last year.


We have the pleasure of support from Pools in the Park in Richmond once again – and if you are running , please keep your race number and use it for a swim in the warm outdoor pools about 5 mins drive from the park. The race number/ voucher is available to use on Race day – May 5th – right through to June – allows the holder one free entry for a relaxing swim in Richmond’s finest swimming baths .

Excellent news for all the runners who want to obtain a lasting memory of the run in Richmond. Not only will the guys from RandR produce exceptional pictures, but runners will be able to access a unique race finishers certificate absolutely free , plus the option of having your name,time, event on photographs you may like ! You will not want to miss out and we will re-remind runners to make sure they look and print off their certificates after the event !!

Evolved Clinic has a team of three osteopaths and two massage therapists offering osteopathy and massage therapy in Twickenham. Our osteopaths treat a wide range of conditions from back and neck pain to sporting injuries and treatment aims to not only targets the symptoms but also find the causes of the pain, thereby preventing recurrence.Our massage therapists will help you to relax and leave you with an overall sense of increased well being.

Biomechanical assessments are great for anyone new to running, struggling to shake of injuries, under performing or unable to exercise due to niggling aches and pain. It is these issues that should be addressed now before they become anything serious in the weeks leading up to the marathon. We are offering all competitors of the Richmond Park Marathon a free 20 minute biomechanical assessment in the run up to the race for those who aren’t injured but just want a check over. However if you have a niggle or injury then why not book yourself in for a consultation and a treatment and as a competitor you will receive 20% discount off the first session.

We will have a couple of special book prizes to give out to two runners – signed by Paula Radcliffe the legend herself ! We will award these to the runners we feel have contributed a lot to our event in 2013 – so watch out, it might be you !!


So – in the final few weeks of April , please take care with your training – eat and drink sensible foods and get yourself mentally prepared for the Richmond Park Marathon – you’ll have plenty of people cheering you on throughout the day – so get ready , race packs will be sent out in the next 2 weeks.

Please can we also give a special good luck message to Kathryn Hall , who will be running her 100th marathon , and wearing the coverted  100 number on race day – see her and please wish her all the best , if she completes the event she will become an official 100 marathon club member and will have the right to wear the special 100 marathon club vest – tremendous !!!
